A new series of episodes of channel 4’s four in a bed started airing in June 2020.

Format the same and boasting and game playing all rather evident.

Series Set beginning 15th June 2020 saw over confident extremely picky Graham and Karen Smith’s Tigh Na Leigh guest house in Alyth, Perth and Kinross as very controversial winners. The payment day of this episode set was very tense and uncomfortable viewing and the guests agreed not to be present for the crowning of the weeks winners.

It has since been reported that Tigh Na Leigh’s listings on Tripadvisor were suspended due to adversely negative postings since the episode aired. It looks like Tripadvisor have removed the postings and allowed postings once more.

Interestingly it seems Channel 4 have removed this episode set from their episode listings.

I have no idea why the couple went on the show and they must fully regret how they have come across.

Series Set beginning 22nd June 2020 saw Jockhedge Holiday Cottages the winners. My view was that other than Pete Lacey of Beach House in Portland in Dorset the others just did not come across as genuine. The two ex teachers Aidan and Mij that ran Earlston House Hotel in Paignton, Devon were noticeably sure they would win.

Series Set beginning 29th June 2020 saw Rich Norris of the Cliff House Hotel in Southbourne as winners of the week. Once again the week was controversial as Hannah Henewaa and Ibrahim Sani of the Montpellier Hotel in Llandrindod Wells, Powys played the game and underpaid all 3 other couples by a considerable amount pretty much saying the rooms were over priced compared to their budget hotel. For me Paul Wright and Dave McDermott’s Coach and Horses in Compton West Sussex probably should have won.

Tripadvisor have been busy again with removing negative reviews of the the Montpellier Hotel that appeared as soon as the payment day episode appeared.
