married at first sight season 2 episode 2

the episode began with clark from the previous episode saving it was amazing to wake up with his new wife.

an insight was given as to why they were matched and this was mainly fue to them both having a nesting gene and wanting the same from a partner

we were introduced to two new couple pairings;

Couple 2 – Adam Donoghue a 33 year old Train Manager from Dorset was matched with Caroline Knott a 28 year old Operations Executive from London

and

Couple 3 – Adam 32 a Trainee Counsellor and Sara 30 a Personal Assistant

This episode followed both couples but only the wedding for couple 2 was shown

Looking at couple 2 Caroline was very open minded about putting trust in experts finding her a partner. She appeared to genuinely feel the process could work. Her sister was very supportive and her father apprehensive. Adam was quite geeky and appeared to not be that experienced in relationships and suggested he had only had one previous relationship. His accommodation was very bachelor pad and full of marvel type memorabilia

Caroline purchased a pre owned wedding dress for the wedding and the wedding looked to be a success and he couple on marrying appeared to get along very well. Interestingly Adams best man was his female best friend which sent social media into overdrive

With regards to couple 3 the experts alluded to the fact that they would have to keep an eye on Adam as he did not possess a nesting gene where as Saea did. This could cause problems further down the line. Sara’s mother was horrified by the prospect of her daughter marrying a complete stranger her best friend how ever was very supportive. Presumably the wedding will be included in episode 3.

We were also introduced to another single woman Lucie a 27 year old marketing executive but no match was mentioned.

married at first sight season 2 episode 1

So it begins again a bunch of singletons and 4 experts attempting to match them through DNA, psychological profiling, a questionnaire and a tape measure

It will be interesting to see if the process works this time as the first series ended with one no show and two divorces.

The five-week ‘experiment’ begins when the couples meet as complete strangers and marry at first sight, and continues with a honeymoon and four weeks of living together as man and wife.

It concludes with ‘decision day’, when the couples must decide whether to stay together or seek a divorce

Once again the experts are Dr Anna Machin, Dr Mark Coulson, Rev Nick Devinish and Jo Coker

The initial couple selected were 27 year old Melissa a Student Nurse and 26 year old Clark a business development manager.

Melissa told her parents 6 weeks before the wedding that she was going to marry a complete stranger at first they seemed to be quite shocked as you would expect but warmed to the idea.

Clarks mum seemed to be happy with the prospect where as his father had concerns.

On the day of the wedding Melissa was worried that when she first set eyes on Clark she would not fancy him. Clark on the way to the wedding was becoming nervous and apprehensive. Whilst waiting for Melissa to arrive at the wedding venue Clark could only keep muttering ‘oh my god’.

They seemed to be happy when they first met afer exchanging vows they went off for an hour I guess to chat to each other before heading to the reception.

The best mans speech was full of comments emphasizing Clarks past failed relationships.

They then headed off for the wedding night. Earlier in the process both mentioned they did not expect anythig physical to occur on that first night.

After the episode twitter was awash with comments from women who were taken with Clark and would willingly step in to look after him if the relationship failed

Cosmopolitan have internet stalked the couple and believe that they are still together after reading Clark’s instagram account. From what I can see its not that obvious

His instagram account is here

Hers is here

Should we stay or leave

well todays the day the UK public decide whether to stay in or leve the EU. it appears the in vote is slightly ahead if the papers and bookies are to be believed. i am still none the wiser as to the correct decision. after the fiasco with people trying to register online to vote at the last minute a couple of weeks back what are the odds that come 10pm when the poll closes their will be queues of people waiting to still to cast their vote. a note on the entance to my polling station stated that provided you are in the queue before at 10pm then you will be able to vote.

a guy in my polling station was quite vocal about wanting a pen to register and not a pencil it seems that the hash tags #pencilgate and #usepens have been trending on twitter, the conspiracy theory being that pencils have been provided so that leave votes can be erased and the intelligence agencies are involved. apparently members of the public at a couple of polling stations who have been handing out pens have been spoken to by the police.

so it will be at least breakfast before a clear picture will be known though unlike the general election their is no exit poll that may have givena  clear indication at 10pm and 9.55pm when both itv and bbc respectively begin their overnight coverage.

what ever the outcome the uk and europe will not be the same one wy or another things will change and probably will be tougher for a while. whether an brexit win will bring the resignation of cameron and other key politicians remains to be seen surely a remain vote will lead to the demise of ukip.

Blocking users on Twitter

Every so often my profile gets followed by an account of an adult nature obviously spam. Its not that obvious of how you can block accounts.

The following link https://support.twitter.com/articles/117063 explains how.

So to block an account that has not tweeted you you have to first go into their profile and block from there. Why cant you just complete the action from your own account withoyt having to navigate into their profile. Does not seem unreasonable

Brexit 10 days and counting

So only two weeks to go until the referendum vote takes place

Am I any clearer on what staying or leaving means to me not really and to the country no not really.

Over the last few days the leave campaign in the polls is ahead but it appears to be very tight there appears to be a lot of undecided voters out there and i have heard statements on news reports of people saying I might not vote as I dont know what it means.

If the people that want to stay don’t vote then I think the leave vote may prove the largest, David Cameron is probably very worried at this stage

As originally thought there is alot of scare moungering from both sides; From the stay campaign it all is economic based from i) BHS budget cuts, ii) State pension cuts, iii) House price crashes, iv) Job cuts and the list goes on obviously the leave campaign dismiss this. What is the answer; I have no idea

The leave campaign talks about immigration. This will be the main vote winner for the leave campaign ; talk of Turkey joining the EU opening the UK borders to thousands more migrants adds fuel to their campaign. The veto that the UK has may not be available pr workable, Incidents of migrant boats turning up off of the coast of Dymchurch and Hastings brings the troubles that the Greece and Italy have closer to home.

There is disharmony amongst politicians within their own parties can they ever get back onside after the referendum remains to be seen.
