The history of me

• 1969 – born
• 1984 – first computer commodore vic 20 learn basic
• 1985 – pass O Level computer studies
• 1986 – second computer commodore 128
• 1987 – pass A Level computer studies
• 1987 – begin degree in computer science
• 1987 – 1991 learn numerous computer languages modula-2, cobol, lisp, c, m6809, sql, ingres to name but some, lots of use of dumb terminals
• 1990 – buys first pc, probably first internet access (bulletin boards) and mail
• 1991 – gain a BSc in Computer Science
• 1991 – begins first job as an oracle programmer, gains knowledge of sun os, and use a mac for all development
• 1993 – first home access to internet via dialup using aol
• 1996 – first mobile phone nokia
• 2001 – home access to bt broadband
• 2001 – joined friends reunited, played with php, html and css
• 2005 – begins life in ecommerce development, joined myspace
• 2007 – joined facebook
• 2010 – buys iphone
• 2012 – buys ipad, joined pinterest, linkedin
